A little over a week ago, we found out that Rex Chapman helped himself to roughly $14,000 worth of Apple products from an Arizona store. In that several month stretch of blatant theft, he compiled almost as many steals as he did during his 12-year NBA career.

Now, as many athletes hitting rock bottom have taught us, the next step (logically) would be for the player to enter rehab. And that's what happened to Rex yesterday, as the former Kentucky standout checked into a four-week program at The Brook Hospital in Louisville. The drug he's attempting to buck is suboxone, which is often prescribed to get people off of painkillers (Chapman suffered with many injuries during his career). Though it seems pretty clear (as you can ascertain from the mugshot above) that it has its own batch of nasty side effects.
