Ashley Young is trying to rewrite history.
The Manchester United winger has lifted the lid on an incident in the season's opening game against Swansea, when bird excrement appeared to land perfectly in his mouth.
Speaking to Sky Sports News, Young said:
"I need to put it out there, I don't actually know. I don't know what happened. You would have seen a reaction from me. I've seen the video about 100 times."
"I don't know who it was and I need to get to the bottom of this as well...everyone think it actually happened. I don't know, I couldn't tell you."
