Andrew Wiggins Threw the First Pitch Before a Twins Game…and It Actually Went Over the Plate! (Video)

At least one NBA player knows how to throw a first pitch.

We've seen a lot of really bad first pitches this year. And for whatever reason, a lot of them have been thrown by NBA players (and former NBA players!) who have looked like they've never picked up a baseball before. But we're happy to report that there is at least one NBA player who can throw a successful first pitch without bouncing it or throwing it 25 feet outside of the strike zone. That player? None other than Andrew Wiggins.

Prior to last night's Twins game in Minnesota, the No. 1 pick in the 2014 NBA Draft threw out the first pitch. And unlike a lot of other celebrities who have thrown first pitches this summer, his actually went right over the plate.

Watch Wiggins throw his first pitch in the clip above. Why can't other NBA players do this?
