Stephen Curry is a better offensive player than LeBron James. At least, that's what Stephen Curry himself thinks.
Yesterday morning, Curry made an appearance on The Dan Patrick Show and Dan Patrick asked him point blank whether or not he thinks that he's a better offensive player than LeBron. And after thinking about Patrick's question for a second, Curry said that he does believe that he's a better offensive player than LBJ.
"Me," he said when Patrick asked him to choose who the better offensive player is between him and LeBron. "It's gotta be, right?"
Right...er, maybe. Depending on who you ask.
Shortly after Curry's comments came to light, Twitter exploded with the majority of people out there calling Curry crazy and saying that there is no way that he's a better offensive player than LeBron. But after scrolling through tons and tons of Twitter reactions on the Stephen Curry vs. LeBron James debate, we realized two things: One, there are a lot of people who tweeted out Drake's "I been Steph Curry with the shot" line from "0 to 100" in response to what Curry said. And two, there are actually quite a few people who believe that Curry is a better offensive player than LeBron.
For proof of that, scroll down to read 25 tweets from NBA fans who think that Curry > LeBron. For the record, we're still riding with King James over Curry (though we love Curry's game) and think that most of these people are nuts. But it's interesting to see so many basketball fans coming to Curry's defense after what he said about his offensive game yesterday.
