Even before they presented Stuart Scott with the Jimmy V Perseverance award, we all mentally prepared ourselves to shed some tears. However, when Scott spoke very candidly about his lengthy and consistent battle with cancer, saying, "As of Sunday, I didn't know if I could make it here," it struck a chord with everybody.
