The summer of Carmelo officially kicked off this week, with the 2013 NBA scoring champion meeting with the Chicago Bulls, Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Lakers, and Dallas Mavericks. While he'd previously stated that he won't actively recruit Carmelo Anthony, Derrick Rose reportedly participated in a full-blown workout to prove that he, alongside Anthony and Joakim Noah, could turn the Bulls into title contenders. Melo's trip to Houston, however, did not go as smoothly.
Like the Bulls, Houston draped the arena in images of Anthony as a Rocket with No. 7 (which he wears as a Knick) on his PhotoShop-ed jersey. But, last we checked, No. 7 already belongs to Rockets point guard Jeremy Lin. The slight, however unintentional, didn't go unnoticed.
