When the clock struck 12:01 a.m., the Cleveland Cavaliers' front office didn't waste any time meeting with Kyrie Irving in New Jersey to discuss his future with the team and offer him a max contract worth $90 million over five years. Less than two hours later, Irving must've liked what he heard because owner Dan Gilbert sent out the following tweet:

Looking forward to the next 6 years of @KyrieIrving in CLE. Just shook hands &intend to sign on the 10th.Cant be more excited about @cavs...

That tweet by Gilbert was followed up by a message from Irving's agent:

Agent Jeff Wechsler tells Yahoo: "Kyrie is looking forward to growing with the organization and city of Cleveland over next six years."

And then, the man himself chimed in:

I'm here for the long haul Cleveland!!! and I'm ecstatic!! Super excited and blessed to be here and apart of something special.#ClevelandKID

With Irving all locked up, who should the Cavs go after next? Wait, we may already know the answer to that question.
