Forget friends, Kendall Jones has made plenty of enemies over her numerous Facebook photos showing the Texas Tech cheerleader next to the animals she has hunted which include a lion, leopard, zebra and elephant. The outrage on the Internet has become so substantial that not one, but two petitions have been made in response to her pics. One calls for the removal of her page altogether and states, "For the sake of all animals, especially the animals in the African region... where hunters are going for fun just to kill an animal!"
In response, Kendall claims she is helping control the male lion population and the funds received from a hunt "goes [sic] partially to the government for permits but also to the farm owner as an incentive to keep and raise lions on their property.”
As for the other petition, it goes as follows:
Kendall Jones is an American born hunter who has entered the continent and has been hunting African wildlife under the facade of conservation. She has publicly stated that she hopes to have a television show and she is using endangered and helpless African animals as a stepping to further her popularity on social media platforms.”
This excerpt points to the belief that 19-year-old says she "wants to host her own show in January 2015."
As of right now, her page is still live.
