It took them long enough. But ESPN has finally released a statement—albeit a very short statement—about the comments that Stephen A. Smith made on Friday morning while discussing Ray Rice and domestic violence on ESPN First Take. The gist of the statement: You're going to have to tune into the show on Monday to hear what SAS and ESPN have to say about everything that has transpired over the course of the last couple of days.

"There has been a lot of discussion and reflection on the topic since Friday and it will continue," the statement said. "Stephen A. Smith plans to address the situation on Monday's First Take and we will have more to say on Monday as well."

So basically: Stay tuned.
