Drake is set to host the 2014 ESPYS on next Wednesday, July 16. Today, he hopped on a media conference call to answer some questions about the big night ahead along with Connor Schell (VP and Executive Producer, ESPN Films and Original Content) and Maura Mandt (Executive Producer, The ESPYS).

Complex's very own Frazier Tharpe was on the call, and asked Drake if Cleveland is now his favorite sports city, which led him to address all those bandwagon accusations

“Well, first of all, I'd like to say that despite what everyone on the Internet thinks, I do not team jump. In the past I’ve always supported the player and not the institution—unless we're talking about the Kentucky Wildcats and the Toronto Raptors; I will never stray from them. But whether it comes to soccer or football or basketball, I have a lot of friends that play for a lot of teams. I’m not team jumping. I’m a supportive friend."

"Of course, I’m gonna go watch games in Cleveland. If not for LeBron—who I said is a brother to me, we’ve got three kids from Toronto on one team, plus Manziel who is part of our family and our brother. I definitely have to look into some real estate in Cleveland and spend some months of the year out there. Like I said, my teams will always forever be who they are but I will support the group who has shifted to Cleveland."

"For Cleveland, a place that I’ve been to time and time again when I’ve been to touring, it's gonna be great for them, I’d love to see them grow."

The ESPYS will all go down on ESPN/ESPNHD from the Nokia Theatre L.A. live in Los Angeles.

Stay updated for more details from Drake's media conference about the upcoming awards.

Update: Drake spoke on a few other hot topics on the media call as well. When asked if he was anxious to meet any athletes he addressed his perceived infatuation with Skylar Diggins: "I've never met Skylar, but I'm sure it'll be extremely awkward if she does show up. She probably won't though...her boyfriend will probably have her tied down to a chair that night."

And in the wake of his successful Saturday Night Live episode, he confirmed he will once again tap into his comedic talents for hosting duties: "I'm actually excited to say that I definitely have incorporated impressions in my performance and that they're something I take pride in and study for. I love finding and getting into character, especially if I know the person. So yes, I will be doing impressions. And they're good."
