During a hearing about his forced ousting as Clippers owner, Donald Sterling (himself a former attorney) went back and forth in a combative manner while matched against the attorney for the NBA. Here's just a quick excerpt of things Donald Sterling had to say during his first day in court as relayed by reporter Arash Markazi's Twitter feed (but first a really brief background about Donald's mental state, and late arrival):

Donald Sterling could not spell "world" backwards or subtract 7 from 100 in the mental exam.
First question Donald Sterling had for the doctor was, "Are you wired?"
Donald, who showed up 40 minutes late, is looking around and smiling. Who knows if he even knows where he is.

And now for some Sterling quotes:

"What is your name?!"... "Is that a compound question?!" Sterling to attorney so far.
Sterling: "What kind of question is that?" Fields: "What question?" Sterling: "I'm talking about your questions. I'm sure they'll improve."
Sterling to Fields: "Be a man for God's sake be a man!" This is courtroom gold.
Sterling: "Tell me where that's relevant and that you're not trying to be a smart ass. What a weird lawyer. What did you say your name was?"
Sterling: "My wife is beautiful but she can't run anything."
Sterling to lawyer: "You're wrong just as everything you've asked today." Judge: "How can he be wrong, he's asking questions?"

Well he does kind of come off as a senile old man here. Not that that should surprise anyone at this point.
