WWE wrestler Daniel Bryan got fortunate when he caught one of two alleged robbers outside of his Phoenix home. Bryan, who was with his wife Brie Bella, threw caution to the wind and chased down one of the burglars.
"It took zero effort to take him down," Bryan said in a press conference. "It took zero effort to put on the rear naked choke." He also noted that the robber was out of shape and kept saying, "I'm sorry," as he was being held — which is pretty much all you can do when you've been caught by a trained wrestler.
This wasn't about justice though. Bryan got emotional as he recalled fearing the silver bracelet that his recently deceased father gave him for his wedding was missing. The bracelet says, "To the man that you've become and the son you'll always be ..."
Fortunately, Bella was able to get back the bracelet in addition to other prized items. So no one was hurt, Bryan keeps the memento of his father, and a burglar gets a lesson in being careful about who to rob—or maybe not robbing people at all.
