Don’t have a spare $600,000 to buy yourself a Mercedes G63 AMG 6x6? Don’t worry, Renault has got you covered, and it’s probably a lot cheaper.
This is the Dustruck (“Duster” and “Truck”), a creation built by Romanian automaker Dacia, Renault’s budget-minded brand. Dacia adopted a portion of the body from its sensible Duster SUV, then cannibalized it by adding a truck frame…hence the two extra wheels and extended bed.
As for now, it remains a mere display item, with no pending plans to put a Dustruck 6x6 into production. Come on Romania, build it!
