According to the official Arsenal team Twitter account, Chile striker Alexis Sanchez has passed a medical and agreed to personal terms to become Arsene Wenger's latest summer signing. The 25-year-old scored 39 goals since joining Barcelona in July, 2011, and featured prominently for Chile at this World Cup. The fee Arsenal are paying Barcelona is believed to be somewhere in the vicinity of £30 million. We'll update the situation as more information becomes available.
