According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, San Francisco 49ers tight end Vernon Davis did not attend today's mandatory minicamp, as he seeks a new contract. It appears, though, that Davis put his time not practicing to good use. The two-time Pro Bowler expressed his views on his contract situation as part of a guest column he wrote for the MMQB this morning. He also talked about the Niners' rivalry with the Seahawks, and gave high praise to Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson.
