Coming out of Brigham Young University, Shawn Bradley was touted as a “can’t miss prospect.” Selected with the No. 2 overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 1993 NBA Draft, enormous expectations were placed on his 7'6", 235-pound frame. In his 14-year NBA career, Bradley amassed close to 7,000 points and over 2,000 blocks. To this date, Bradley is 16th in NBA history in blocks.
Even so, Shawn Bradley is remembered for one thing: being dunked on. Everyone tried to bang on Bradley and most were successful. The Stormin’ Mormon’s NBA career is marred by videos of Tracy McGrady and Kevin Garnett obliterating him. Yet despite these videos, Bradley still had a solid career in the NBA.
