Game 1 of the NBA Finals might be Thursday night, but the psychological warfare between San Antonio and Miami has already begun. The battle lines were drawn when a billboard in Texas was plastered all over the Internet. The advertisement insinuates a divide between the homegrown authenticity of Tim Duncan and Co., while blasting the synthetic, store-bought “Big Three.”

The back-and-forth continued, this time with a doctored image from Page Q Sports, which features a geriatric Tim Duncan.

Also getting in on the action are the respective locker rooms. After knocking off the Oklahoma City Thunder last week, Duncan told reporters, "We're happy it's the Heat again."

Of course, the billboards and posturing won't mean anything on Thursday, when these two teams meet in San Antonio, Texas for Game 1. Can't wait! *Bart Scott voice*
