Despite coming off a right knee injury, the Pittsburgh Steelers locked up center Maurkice Pouncey with a five-year $44 million deal, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. The Steelers drafted Pouncey with their first-round pick in 2010, and after becoming the first center in NFL history to be selected to the Pro Bowl in each of his first three seasons, the former Florida Gator will now become the league's highest-paid center as well. At least we know that if the football thing doesn't work out, he can always revive his career on the big screen.
