ESPN’s Adam Schefter is reporting that another one of the men involved in the burglary and murder of former Redskins safety Sean Taylor was sentenced this afternoon:

Jason Mitchell found guilty of 1st-degree felony murder and armed burglary; sentenced to life in prison for his role in killing Sean Taylor.

Mitchell is the second person to be convicted as a result of his actions in the tragic 2007 killing, which was the result of a botched robbery that only occurred because the thieves thought the home would be empty. The man who fired the fatal shot has already been sentenced:

Man who authorities say fired fatal shot at Sean Taylor, Eric Rivera Jr., was convicted last fall of 2nd-degree... http://t.co/lco6hpL2WJ

While it's of little consolation to Taylor's friends and family, at least justice has been served.
