Prior to Game 5 of the 2012 NBA Finals, Mike Miller was a combined 0/3 from beyond the arc in the series. Then, in that series-clinching game, Miller literally came out of nowhere, going 7/8 from downtown. Even though securing his first NBA title was a big deal, there had to be some part of Miller who was disappointed that he was only one three-pointer short of tying the single-game record set by Ray Allen.
Miller finished with 23 points and five rebounds. Not bad for a guy who didn't even eclipse 12 points in the entire postseason.
