Last week, The Gameposted a video to Instagram in which the rapper drained a 3-pointer from NBA range. While impressive, we normally wouldn't care about The Game's ability to knock down the long range shot, but the clip was accompanied by a caption that read in part: “Bet [Kevin Durant] $20,000 that he’d have to donate to [The Game's youth basektball team]… if I made an NBA 3-pointer…"

Afterwards, however, Kevin Durant denied the bet on Twitter told TMZ Sports that The Game lied about the terms of their agreement. Fueled by the footage from TMZ, The Game called Durant a sore loser and—all of a sudden—the 2014 NBA MVP became the most hated athlete in hip-hop.

But, apparently, it’s all a misunderstanding. The Game called into TMZ Sports on Thursday, and cleared up the terms of the bet. He went on to say that the Thunder star agreed to lace The Game’s youth basketball league with KD’s signature sneaker. So, in sum, The Game and KD are friends again! Oh, and, free shoes for everyone!
