During the U.S. Men's National Team's first World Cup game against Ghana earlier this month, Jozy Altidore strained his left hamstring. And the initial thought was that he wouldn't be able to return to the U.S. roster during the remainder of the World Cup, regardless of how far the Americans advanced. But a short time ago, several different media members stationed in Brazil reported that Altidore has been spotted jogging during the USA's practice today. And that could be good news for the USMNT:
Jozy Altidore jogging some laps around the practice field. Now getting stretched out. Ready by Tuesday?

Beautiful day of training at Paulo FC, Jozy Altidore jogging around field at a good clip, no obvious signs of an issue
Does this mean that Altidore is definitely going to return to the pitch on Tuesday against Belgium? No. But it does mean that, at the very least, he's one step closer to playing in this year's World Cup. And that's encouraging news for the American squad.
Stay tuned to see if Altidore will be healthy enough to play in the Round of 16 next week.
