Earlier today, a photo of Ghana soccer player John Boye kissing a $100,000 bonus that he received as part of a $3 million cash bonus that the entire Ghana team received made the rounds on the Internet. And at the time, only one word came to mind: "BAAAAAAALLIN!"

But right about now, Boye looks like an idiot. Because during the first half of the Ghana/Portgual match—a match that Portgual leads 1-0 at the half—Boye accidentally scored an own goal. And as a result of it, people are having a field day on Twitter and calling Boye out for kissing his money earlier and then making such a boneheaded play on the pitch. Here's what some people out there are saying:

John Boye owes Ghana $3 million

The good news is that Boye is going to get to enjoy that $100K after the game. The bad news is that if Ghana goes on to lose to Portugal, people aren't going to let him forget about what he did both before and during the game. SMH.
