Do you hear that? That uptempo house music and wastegate popping can mean only one thing – the Horizon Festival is just around the corner.

Turn 10 Studios has confirmed our suspicions and announced that Forza Horizon 2, the franchise’s second open-world installment, will drift its way onto Xbox One consoles on September 30 of this year.

With increased online multiplayer capabilities, an expanded garage of over 200 cars at release (with many more expected via DLC), and changing weather systems – this iteration looks to be the perfect blend of Forza 5 and the open-world.

The franchise ditches the old dusty roads of Colorado for a sprint on some of Europe’s finest motorways. Check out the E3 trailer above.
