The United Kingdom is a magical land best know for producing kilts, villains for American movies, and tiny track cars that are technically road legal (at least in their home countries) that lack roofs. This being the Rides channel, we're here to talk about the latter.

The latest roofless wonder is the Elemental RP-1, and it has distinguished itself by only weighing 992 lbs. To put that in context, that's several hundred pounds lighter than the fattest man in the world. This makes the RP-1 the lightest sports car in the world.

Propelling the car will be a 280 horsepower, 2.0L Ford EcoBoost mounted behind the driver and routed through a six-speed sequential transmission. A Bugatti Veyron Super Sport has 3.47 lbs for each horse to push around, while the RP-1 has a comparable 3.52. We can't wait to see what this thing can do.
