A string of car thefts in Burbank, California left a few Honda owners without their car batteries.

A string of car thefts in Burbank, California prove that people will literally steal anything from your car. Last week, thieves broke into three ‘90s-era Honda vehicles in the city and stole nothing but the cars’ batteries.

A 1998 maroon Honda Civic was the first victim. The owner could not figure out why her car wouldn’t start, until she popped the hood and saw that the battery had been looted. Thieves struck a 1999 Honda Accord and a 1992 Honda Civic later on in the night as well.

We’ve heard of stealing hood ornaments and mirrors, even wheels and tires, but batteries? One can never have enough Honda batteries...
