Police cars in the UK are usually pretty uninspiring. In 'Murica we use big, RWD sedans with large engines, but in the UK you're more likely to see a Hyundai i10, a Ford Focus, or a Vauxhall Astra. If you think you can out-run the British cops, you probably can (they'll cut you off on a tiny road covered in cameras five minutes later, but you can out-run them).
Nobody is going to be able to out-run who ever is sitting in this Ariel Atom 3.5R police car that the manufacturer just donated to the Avon and Somerset Constabulary. In reality, the vehicle will be used to promote safe driving habits, and will star in events designed to show the public that there is a time and place to fully use your performance vehicle, and it's not a public road.
We can get behind that.
