It's kind of sad that there even has to be a "National Bike to Work Day" in America (safe to say there will never be a "National Drive to Work Day"), but it's tomorrow, and everyone should take part. Not only are bikes cleaner and safer (for other people, anyway) than cars, but it's a good excuse to start burning off all those winter donuts. Mmmmm, donuts.

Don't let living in New York City be an excuse, either. Yes, traffic can be daunting, but there is plenty of bicycle friendly infrastructure in place, from bike share to bike lanes, and as long as you do things properly, there's no reason to be frightened.
