You can officially cross Mark Jackson off of a cross-country move to man the Knicks' sideline. How do we know this? The former Warriors Head Coach just opted to rejoin ESPNwhere he'll undoubtedly get his announcing chair back.

This news combined with Steve Kerr choosing the vacated Golden State job, which leads us to speculate on who could be the potential fit as Phil Jackon's pawn New York's next Head Coach. Right now, it appears that current Oklahoma City Thunder backup Derek Fisher could be on his way to a move from a seat on the bench to the man pacing in front of it.

If this news indeed pans out, he'll be the 2nd point guard in two years to enter the nation's largest market (and the expectations that go with it) immediately after retirement.
