Anytime you combine the words “Ferrari” and “250” – you end up with quite an amazing cocktail. Add in “GTO” to that lineage and you’ve got one of the most coveted vehicles in the world. Take a look – and especially a listen – to this gorgeously produced clip from Petrolicious that showcases the incomparable Ferrari 250 GTO. You won’t be disappointed.
The driver is Derek Hill, son of American-born Formula 1 Champion Phil Hill. He knows a thing or two about these iconic cars, especially this one: it was his dad’s. The car is chassis #5571, first of the Series II bodies and driven to a class victory at Daytona by Hill himself. It’s rare too, one of only 39 examples. Enjoy.
