Working customer service for an airline has to be a thankless job. We're sure the urge strikes to tell a customer exactly where they should stick their complaint. Apparently, the social media manager for US Airways wanted to go a step further and show where in photographic detail.

US Airways exchanged tweets with @ElleRafter about her plane sitting on the tarmac for an hour. Eventually, @USAirways tweeted "We welcome feedback, Elle. If your travel is complete, you can detail it here for review and follow-up:" along with a picture of a woman with a model airplane deep inside her vagina. US Airways has since deleted the offending tweet, but you can see a screenshot of it right here. The airline also apologized:

We apologize for an inappropriate image recently shared as a link in one of our responses. We’ve removed the tweet and are investigating.

It's been a strange couple days for Twitter and airlines.
