Automotive journalism is a pretty cool career. You get to travel, eat at nice restaurants, and drive supercars on race tracks and in return all that's required is a bit of honesty and sarcasm on the Internet. As far as jobs go, it's a really good time. There is one major pitfall, though: Being able to spit one's opinion out in a way that makes it seem authoritative give a great many of us an overinflated opinion of ourselves.

As soon as somebody thinks his or her opinion is particularly valuable, that person starts complaining about everything and then expecting a genuine change in response.
