Wichita State had a great run this season. Unfortunately, their undefeated streak came to an end today against Kentucky in the third round of the 2014 NCAA Tournament. After a back and forth second half that saw both teams trading baskets, the Wildcats continued to find themselves at the free throw line, knocking down their shots from the charity stripe. With only a few seconds remaining in the second half, Kentucky was holding onto a slim 78-76 lead. In a play that many probably assumed would end with the ball in the game's leading scorer (31 points) Cleanthony Early's hands, instead went to Fred VanVleet who was able to free himself up for a three-pointer that couldn't find the basket. The Wildcats barely held on and they are headed to the next round.

So, what do you make of the Shockers' season? Still a success given their 35-1 finish? Or, a little devalued after getting bounced early in the tourney?
