We’ve suddenly gotten the urge to go off-roading thanks to this nostalgic look at 25 years of the Land Rover Discovery. Watch these utes haul boats, trains, and ass across some of the most inhospitable climates imaginable.

The iconic British marque announced that it will soon unveil a new range of crossover vehicles that will inherit the “Discovery” nameplate. These small SUVs will replace the current LR4 and Freelander models.

The new Discovery lineup is pegged to be the brand’s compromise between the utilitarian Defender and ultra-lux Range Rover series. Wouldn't it be amazing to see a new solid-axle trucklet? Keep dreaming. You can bet the new series won't attempt any of what you see in the video.
