Coming out of Russia's basketball league, Patrick Beverley's profile wasn't expected to be boosted by tearing meniscuses. But months into his NBA career, Beverley got unfairly vilified by a few for causing Russell Westbrook's playoff-ending torn meniscus when he went in for a steal.

Westbrook hasn't completely forgiven Beverley, so it's a wonder how he feels about him getting the same injury he got sidelined with.

Houston guard Patrick Beverley has suffered a torn meniscus in his knee, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. Timetable for return unclear.
Beverley will seek second opinion, where it'll be determined if there's rehab scenario where he could return in playoffs -- or miss season.

And Beverley tore it winning against the Sixers of all teams. The Rockets better hope Jeremy Lin is on-point for the next couple of months.
