LeBron James put together a game for the record books with 61 points. The two-time Finals MVP shot 22-for-33 from the field, 8-for-10 from beyond the arc, 9-for-12 from the free-throw line. He also managed to collect seven rebounds and five assists during the game.

James surpassed his previous career-high of 56 points, set when he played for the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2005 game against the Raptors. This was the 10th time that LeBron has cracked 50 points, and it was first time he’s done since so in over three years when he scored 51 points against the Orlando Magic in his first season with Miami.

The Bobcats are major losers in this as Knicks All-Star forward Carmelo Anthony dropped in a career-high 62 points against the Bobcats back in January. The Bobcats might want to re-think how they guard forwards.
