The idea of the Dubai police department owning a fleet of supercars may seem foreign to you, but now it's catching on in America as well. The LAPD acquired a Lamborghini Gallardo, though, thankfully, not with our tax dollars. It was donated by a couple of dudes who own a fiber optics company.
We'd love to see the Gallardo used in a crazy police chase, but that ain't happening. All that horsepower will be stabled as it's used for charity events for the LAPD air support team. If you don't frequent LAPD air support team charity events—we can't imagine you do—you can keep tabs on the Lambo via its Instagram and Twitter accounts.
