If Carmelo Anthony wants to sign a max contract this summer, he'll sign a deal with the New York Knicks. But if he wants to win an NBA championship, he'll sign a deal with the Chicago Bulls. At least, that's the way Joakim Noah reportedly sees things.

According to an ESPN report, Noah approached Anthony at the 2014 NBA All-Star Weekend last month and attempted to recruit him to play for the Bulls next season. Noah reportedly told Anthony, "If you want to win a ring, if you want your legacy to be about winning, come to Chicago." And Anthony reportedly responded by telling Noah that he's a big fan of the way the Bulls play.

None of this means anything right now. The Bulls can't make Anthony an offer for another four months. But it does seem to indicate that Chicago would have some interest in pursuing Anthony. And it also seems to indicate that Anthony wouldn't mind them doing it. So we'll just have to wait and see if anything comes out of it.
