Joakim Noah Didn't Like the Fans' "MVP" Chants Directed at Him

But wait until his reason.

After a great performance that made his father proud, Joakim Noah shouldn't have been surprised to hear the Bulls faithful deliver an "MVP" chant in his direction. After today's Bulls/Heat game, Noah was asked about the chants and surprisingly, the 29-year-old center wasn't a fan. No pun intended.

“I don’t like it. No, I don’t like it. Our MVP is not playing. We have one MVP, and that’s Derrick Rose. And, it’s not about MVPs, it’s about rings, and one day I hope that we can get one here.”

Whether you hate him or love him, Noah is undeniably the consummate professional who places a higher value on the accomplishments of his team over his own personal gain, even though Noah is posting career highs in points (12.0), rebounds (11.3) and assists (4.8).
