Bland. Boring. Uninteresting. Lifeless. Mundane. Stale. Blah. Yawn.
No, we're not describing our weekend right now. Rather, we're describing the jersey that the U.S. Men's National Team is going to wear at the World Cup in Brazil this summer. U.S. Soccer showed off the new jersey on Twitter earlier this morning. And people were not feeling it, mostly because it's just so…well, go and re-read the words above. It's not that it's terrible. It's just not exciting. Like, at all. Just check out some of the tweets we've seen about the jersey:
The home jersey for the U.S. National team looks more like a golf shirt than a soccer kit— Nicole Fyffe (@nfyffe05) March 3, 2014

Is the new USA soccer jersey some kind of sick joke?— Dave (@DBehmke13) March 3, 2014
At the end of the day, the jersey could be worse. But the U.S. isn't going to turn any heads in Brazil with their unis. So they'd better be prepared to do it with their play.
