Former NFL Player Derrick Ward Goes On an Epic Twitter Rant to Defend DeSean Jackson

Everyone had an opinion on the Eaglesreleasing DeSean Jackson earlier today, presumably because of his alleged connections to Los Angeles gang members. People have been going in on Twitter for the last few hours with some people defending Jackson and others defending the Eagles for parting ways with him. But one of the most interesting reactions that we've seen came from former NFL running back Derrick Ward.

The former New York Giant went on a lengthy (a really lengthy!) rant and sent out a bunch of tweets about why the Eagles were wrong for cutting Jackson. He said the Eagles knew what they were getting themselves into when they drafted Jackson, he argued that the NFL is going to disappear within the next 20 years, he admitted to gang banging himself when he was younger, and…well, just go ahead and read the rant for yourself:
