David Beckham Is Now Repping Jaguar in China

He's gotta fill his free time somehow.

You can now add David Beckham to the list of celebrities endorsing products overseas. The retired soccer player has been announced as Jaguar's brand ambassador in China. His face will be all over print and television advertisements exclusive to China for the English car manufacturer.

Beckham said of the partnership, "I’ve always been an admirer of Jaguar—from the styling and design to the feel and roar of the engine, every element feels uniquely British." He isn't bullshitting. His incredible car collection includes a Jaguar XJ he picked up in 2011. And that just so happens to be the model he'll push in China.

We humbly suggest that the campaign includes an ad like Bill Murray's from Lost in Translation, although it might take a few takes to make that happen.
