This was an "armed confrontation," too.

The Gators are celebrating after beating Kentucky 61-60 in the SEC Championship. It's not all good times though. A member of the football team got in an altercation that involved a discharged weapon and a broken window.

Wide receiver Andre Debose was eating with a few friends when a heated argument broke out. It's not clear what the argument was about, but one of the four pals present pushed him and sent him through a window. Debose wasn't seriously injured, but John Honeycutt was so angry about what happened that he got a handgun to threaten Victor Watkins II, who pushed Debose through the window.

Debose is pretty lucky judging by Gainesville Police Department's account of what happens after:

Honeycutt now retrieved the rifle and fired several rounds into Watkins's SUV and into the ground in front of the house.

Honeycutt was charged with aggravated assault, while Debose escapes with no charges and possibly a lesson on associating with better people. This could've been way worse.
