We're not gonna lie to you: We didn't catch a single second of the 76ers/Warriors game last night. The Sixers lost the game by 43 points, so it didn't really seem worth our time.

But a quick glance at the box score from the game reveals that at least one noteworthy thing did happen during it. Warriors forward Marreese Speights dropped a career-high 32 points during the game. And at one point during the third quarter, he was playing so well that the Golden State fans started up an "M-V-P!" chant when he stepped to the free throw line.

Surprising? Uh, yeah, to say the least. Especially since if we had to rank the Warriors roster according to how likely each player would be to receive an "M-V-P!" chant during a game, it would look like this:

  • Stephon Curry
  • Klay Thompson
  • Andre Iguodala
  • David Lee
  • Andrew Bogut
  • Harrison Barnes
  • A bunch of other Warriors players that we don't really feel like listing
  • Marreese Speights
  • Jermaine O'Neal (you thought we forgot about him, didn't you?!)

Oh well. Speights' big game was against the Sixers. So we don't think Kevin Durant's MVP award is in any real danger just yet. But if Speights goes for 32—or hell, even just 22!—against the Heat tomorrow, LOOK OUT.
