Last night, Ronda Rousey made quick work of her opponent, Sara McMann, defeating her by TKO after referee Herb Dean stepped in and called the fight following a vicious knee to the stomach that sent McMann to the mat in evident pain in the first round. As you tell, though, in the GIF below, Sara seemed to still have some fight in her, which caused people to think that Dean should've let them duke it out for a little while longer.
Dean needed to make a split second decision and determine if McMann could continue fighting while protecting her from any further damage in the Octagon. It isn't an easy job. But, did he make the right choice?
