Maybe the incident between Ray Rice and his fiancée Janay Palmer wasn't the "very minor physical altercation" that the Ravens running back's attorney Andrew Alperstein has leading us to believe. As you all have probably seen by now, TMZ Sports obtained video of an unconscious Janay being dragged out of an elevator inside the Revel Atlantic City hotel and casino in Atlantic City, N.J.

Initial reports claimed that Rice landed an uppercut on Palmer after she spat on him during a heated argument. And now, a police summons obtained by a Baltimore TV reporter, which you can see in the thumbs, says that Rice struck her [Janay] with his hand, rendering her unconscious. Earlier today, Alperstein responded to TMZ Sports leak of the surveillance footage, saying that what we witnessed "is not the complete event but is merely the end result of what transpired." So, uh, where does that leave this new bit of information? We're sure there is plenty more that will unfold in the coming days, so stay tuned for further details surrounding this story.
