A Man Who Sued Aaron Hernandez Last Year for Allegedly Shooting Him Just Got Shot Again

He's expected to survive.

Do you remember Alexander Bradley? If not, he's the man who filed a lawsuit against Aaron Hernandez last year and claimed that the former Patriots tight end shot him outside of Miami strip club Tootsie's Cabaret back in February 2013. Bradley never reported the shooting to police. But as a result of the alleged shooting, Bradley lost his right eye.

Now, Bradley is back in the news. And it's because, over the weekend, he got shot again. This time, he was shot by an unknown assailant outside of a club called Vevo Lounge Bar & Grill in Hartford, Conn. on Sunday night. Police believe that an altercation took place inside of the club that eventually led bouncers to toss Bradley and several other people out. But when they did, one of the people who got kicked out allegedly opened fire and hit Bradley.

Police also believe that, after he was shot, Bradley ran to his car, retrieved a gun, and returned fire. He then jumped into his car and attempted to speed away from the scene. But he was pulled over a short time later and rushed to the hospital to receive treatment for his gunshot wound. He's expected to survive, but the investigation into his involvement with the shooting is still ongoing.

So is the shooting just a crazy coincidence, or is it somehow related to Hernandez's legal issues? That's still TBD. But Hartford police have confirmed that Boston police have already reached out to them to learn more about Bradley's shooting. So we'll probably learn more about a possible connection in the days to come. In the meantime, how much crazier is the Aaron Hernandez saga going to get?
