The Saints should be.

Jimmy Graham is heading into an offseason that could involve arduous contract negotiations with the New Orleans Saints about the position he plays, but Graham's not worried. Graham said today that he’s approaching the offseason the way he always does, working out and preparing for the next season.

The biggest question looming for Graham is whether he’ll be categorized as a tight end or a wide receiver for the purpose of his status as the Saints’ franchise player. If he’s a wide receiver New Orleans will have to guarantee him $4.5 million more on the franchise tender than they’d have to pay him if he’s a tight end.

Graham was balling last year for the Saints. He led the NFL in touchdown catches at 16 and he should continue this great play again in the future. This decision could play a big role in the future with so many wide receiver/tight end hybrid types of players playing in the NFL.
