Electrical Fire on F Train Tracks Causes Huge Delays This Morning

Contrary to what you might assume, the delays happening on the F train in New York City this morning are not because of that nasty winter storm that rolled in overnight. It's actually the result of a small electrical fire on the tracks, according to a couple of accounts on Twitter: 

NYCT Subway Service is calling it a "rail condition" and announced that F Trains are running on the A line from Jay St to W 4 St: 

Naturally, this has pissed a lot of people off. Considering plenty of them are probably hungover from last night's evening of Super Bowl parties, these aren't exactly the best conditions to be heading to work in: 

 

The line has resumed, but the city is supposed to get up to eight inches of snow and slush mix today, so this sadly probably won't be the only delay of the day.
