Someone should really consider televising the annual game that the Duke and North Carolina basketball managers play every year on the night before the first Duke/North Carolina game of the college basketball season. Because the games are starting to be every bit as good as the actual Duke/UNC games.

Last year's Duke/UNC managers' game ended with an epic buzzer-beater that gave the Blue Devils a 55-52 win. Duke fans stormed the court after the victory and celebrated like they had just won the national championship. And last night, the Duke and UNC managers made headlines again by getting into a brief scuffle in the middle of their game. As you can see in the clip above, players from both sides started pushing and shoving one another after an elbow was thrown by a UNC manager. And fans went wild as both sides squared off for a few tense moments.

Fortunately, it doesn't appear as though any punches were thrown. And UNC went on to win the game 38-33 in relatively uneventful fashion (sorry, no buzzer-beaters this year!). But if this doesn't prove how intense the Duke and UNC rivalry still is, nothing does. Tonight's game should be every bit as chippy as last night's was.
